Here is an example of how you do not actually own your land. He lives on "his" property in his rundown home by himself. He is a constitutionalist so he is labeled anti-government. People who know him said he was a polite and nice man and only got angry when it came to government intrusion and violation of the constitution. In 2000 when the county was building a road near his property they blasted out a limestone hill and destroyed his well and he could not afford a new one and had to get water with jugs from a spring. The government refused to pay for damages or replace it, why not they own the law enforcement. He then ceased paying property taxes. The government not long ago let him know he owed over $5,000 in taxes. He posted a sign on his property that anyone who trespasses without a permit owes him $5,000. The government trespassed and he sent them a bill. This obviously was not going to work. The county government then decides to evict him from his own land for not paying his land rent in effect. Officers encroach on his land and he fires warning shots. The cowards then leave and then guess what happens. They deploy an operation that involved six Sheriff's departments, one local police department, six SWAT/tactical teams, State Police personnel, a bomb squad, two airborne units, three emergency response teams, and representatives of three state agencies. All of this manpower was mobilized, remember, to conduct an assault on a solitary aging man who owed $5,737.01 in back taxes. On April 3 an assault on Bayliss's home was headed by three BearCat vehicles. It is proudly reported that the vehicle is fortified with "half-inch hardened steel armor plates, State Department-approved bulletproof windows, blast fragmentation resistant floors, specially designed gunports, roof hatches with rotating turrets, gun mounts and gear storage." Did Bayliss surrender, well no. He defended his property with a gun and some kind of explosive devices most likely Molotov cocktails. Well he lost and his house was burned to the ground. The police proudly showed off the damage done to one of the Bearcats and justify buying it now because they needed it to defeat a poor old man. I wonder if this over kill is just a message to civilians that the jackboot thugs will look for any excuse to use their military toys on the peasant slaves.
